Freeze the tour handover pack before the drawing review

Record the console model and revision supplied by the buyer, installed options, items removed for transport, loose accessories, current patch-list revision, and the crew role responsible for each connection. Add a simple operating-position sketch showing where the operator intends to stand, where the console is opened, and where cable bundles enter and leave the work area. Name every document with the same case code and revision. Turn the patch list into observable cable checks
For each connection group, list the source, destination, label, connection order, and whether the lead stays with the console or travels separately. The review should flag paths that could cross controls, obstruct the operator, trap a lead during closure, or leave an unplugged tail without an agreed storage place.
Run the check with the cable set the touring crew actually plans to use. One person follows the patch list while another observes labeling, hand access, bend direction, strain points, and the sequence for disconnecting before closure. Record every mismatch against the drawing revision; do not solve it by silently changing the patch sheet or accepting a verbal workaround that the next crew cannot reproduce.
Witness the changeover and close the field handover
Rehearse the complete changeover from transport state to operating position and back again with the intended crew roles. Check where removed panels or lids are placed, whether the operator position remains usable, whether labels stay visible, and whether the disconnect order is clear before anything is closed. These are acceptance observations for the buyer's workflow, not unverified claims about the case's performance.
Close the handover file with the accepted drawing revision, approved patch list, cable inventory, operating-position sketch, dated rehearsal record, unresolved actions, and the owner of later changes. If the console revision, patch plan, cable set, or tour workflow changes, reopen the affected checks and issue a new revision. This gives procurement and touring teams one traceable baseline for repeat use.
